MCMI9JA TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Welcome to MCMI9JA, a cultural reality show initiative dedicated to promoting unity, peace, cultural appreciation, and national development through the celebration of Nigeria’s diverse heritage. By registering for, participating in, or engaging with MCMI9JA in any capacity, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. ELIGIBILITY
1.1 Participation in MCMI9JA is open only to individuals who meet the eligibility requirements prescribed by the organizers.
1.2 Participants must provide complete, accurate, and truthful information during registration and throughout the competition.
1.3 MCMI9JA reserves the right to verify the identity, age, location, and eligibility status of any participant at any stage of the competition.
2. ACCURACY OF INFORMATION
2.1 By registering, you warrant and represent that all information, documents, photographs, videos, and other materials submitted are true, accurate, current, and complete.
2.2 Any participant found to have submitted false, misleading, fraudulent, or incomplete information may be disqualified immediately without notice.
2.3 MCMI9JA reserves the right to conduct verification checks and request supporting documentation where necessary.
3. PARTICIPANT CONDUCT
3.1 Participants shall conduct themselves in a respectful, professional, and responsible manner throughout the competition.
3.2 Participants agree to uphold the values of national unity, cultural diversity, peace, mutual respect, and social harmony.
3.3 Participants shall not engage in or promote:
- Tribalism or ethnic discrimination;
- Hate speech or inflammatory statements;
- Religious intolerance;
- Harassment, bullying, or intimidation;
- Violence or threats of violence;
- Defamation of individuals or organizations;
- Fraudulent activities;
- Any conduct capable of bringing MCMI9JA, its sponsors, partners, organizers, judges, or affiliates into disrepute.
3.4 Any violation of this section may result in suspension, disqualification, forfeiture of prizes, or legal action where applicable.
4. MEDIA CONSENT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
4.1 By participating in MCMI9JA, participants grant MCMI9JA a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, and non-exclusive right to use, reproduce, publish, distribute, display, edit, broadcast, transmit, and promote any photographs, videos, recordings, interviews, performances, submissions, or other materials provided by the participant.
4.2 Such usage may be utilized for promotional, advertising, marketing, publicity, educational, documentary, social media, broadcast, digital, print, or commercial purposes without additional compensation unless otherwise required by law.
4.3 Participants confirm that materials submitted do not infringe upon the intellectual property rights or legal rights of any third party.
5. COMPETITION RULES
5.1 Participants agree to comply with all competition guidelines, instructions, schedules, procedures, and requirements issued by MCMI9JA.
5.2 MCMI9JA reserves the right to modify, update, suspend, or amend any competition rule, procedure, timeline, voting mechanism, or eligibility requirement where necessary to ensure fairness, transparency, security, and operational effectiveness.
5.3 Any amendments shall become effective immediately upon publication or notification.
6. JUDGING AND DECISION-MAKING
6.1 All decisions made by MCMI9JA, its judges, panelists, administrators, or authorized representatives shall be final and binding.
6.2 No correspondence, appeal, challenge, or dispute regarding judging outcomes, scoring processes, rankings, eliminations, or winner selection shall be entertained except where required by applicable law.
7. DISQUALIFICATION
MCMI9JA reserves the right to suspend or disqualify any participant who:
- Provides false or misleading information;
- Violates these Terms and Conditions;
- Engages in misconduct or unethical behavior;
- Attempts to manipulate voting or competition results;
- Breaches applicable laws or regulations;
- Engages in activities that damage the reputation of MCMI9JA.
Disqualification may occur without prior notice where circumstances warrant immediate action.
8. PRIZES AND WINNER VERIFICATION
8.1 All winners shall be subject to verification procedures before any prize is awarded.
8.2 Winners may be required to provide identification documents, proof of eligibility, and any other information reasonably requested by the organizers.
8.3 Failure to comply with verification requirements within the stipulated timeframe may result in forfeiture of prizes.
8.4 MCMI9JA reserves the right to substitute prizes with alternatives of equal or greater value where circumstances make such substitution necessary.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
9.1 Participation in MCMI9JA is voluntary and undertaken at the participant’s own risk.
9.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, MCMI9JA, its organizers, sponsors, partners, affiliates, employees, volunteers, and representatives shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, claim, cost, expense, or liability arising directly or indirectly from participation in the competition.
9.3 Participants assume full responsibility for their actions and conduct throughout the competition.
10. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
10.1 Personal information collected during registration and participation shall be processed for competition administration, verification, communication, promotional activities, and other legitimate purposes connected with MCMI9JA.
10.2 MCMI9JA shall take reasonable measures to safeguard participant information in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
10.3 By registering, participants consent to the collection, storage, processing, and use of their information for purposes related to MCMI9JA.
11. FORCE MAJEURE
MCMI9JA shall not be responsible for delays, cancellations, interruptions, or modifications resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, public health emergencies, civil unrest, technical failures, or other unforeseen events.
12. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Any dispute arising from participation in MCMI9JA shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Nigeria.
13. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By registering for MCMI9JA, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and voluntarily accepted these Terms and Conditions and agree to comply fully with all rules, policies, and regulations governing the competition.
PARTICIPANT DECLARATION
I hereby declare that all information provided by me is true, complete, and accurate to the best of my knowledge.
I confirm that I have carefully read, understood, and accepted the MCMI9JA Terms and Conditions. I agree to abide by all rules, regulations, policies, and decisions of the organizers and understand that failure to comply may result in disqualification or other appropriate actions.
By submitting my registration, I voluntarily consent to participate in MCMI9JA and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
